Account Management
Within the Treasury Management area of Fermata Control, you can view and manage each customer’s account with your platform.
Account overview
For Postpaid Accounts
Within each Treasury Management account page you’ll be able to see all Spend transactions, as well as tabs for Usage reporting as well as account administration.
Credit Line
In the topline numbers, postpaid accounts will show total spend towards the customer credit line. You can set up this credit line in the Account tab. You’ll be alerted as customers get close to, and cross this number.
We recommend using the credit line as a way to ensure postpaid customers don’t over-use the platform and put you in a position where nonpayment becomes a hit to your bottom line.
You can also chose to automate pause actions when customers exceed their credit line — including credit blocking them from completing actions on your platform until payment is made.
Reporting Spend for Usage Based Accounts
Postpaid accounts show a spend burn-up chart– showing how this account is pacing against spend in previous months. Below you can review any balance
Reporting Spend for Subscription Based accounts
For subscription based accounts, we show a bar chart that is composed of the core plan revenue, purchased “top-ups” and overage.
On subscription accounts, each metered usage event receives it’s own balance account.
Customer account administration
You can update key account details, and adjust the customer credit line from the Admin tab.
For Prepaid Accounts
Within each Treasury Management account page you’ll be able to see all Spend transactions, as well as tabs for Usage reporting as well as account administration.
Balance
Prepaid accounts draw down from a prepaid balance, or off a set of subscriptions that don’t allow for postpaid overage. For pay-as-you-go plans, we show a spend burn-up chart, as well as a balance burn-down chart.
Prepaid pay-as-you-go
Prepaid plans without overage
For Hybrid plans, where overage is charged upon the next plan renewal, the account must be setup as a Postpaid account.
Autorefill
When a customer has a prepaid balance, you can chose to enable autorefill in the Admin tab. When autorefill is enabled, Fermata will automatically recharge and refill the customer’s balance account when the balance drops below a specific threshold.
We will display the autorefill state on the accounts home spend page:
In this example, the first account has autorefill turned on, such that when the balance drops below $1,000.00 USD, the customer is charged $25,000.00. The second account here has autorefill turned off.
We provide an trend estimate at which point the next refill will occur, or when we think the account without autorefill will reach a zero balance.
Usage
Per Event Usage Reports
Fermata has robust usage reporting available on a per-customer basis. Within the Usage tab, you can see Usage trending and reporting for each event type.
We show how the current billing period stacks against the last two billing periods, and highlight trends around token or spend usage.
You can dig into all usage events by selecting the View all events tab — which allows you to dig into specific event type usage.
