Fermata is a configurable payments API that helps you easily bill, capture payment, payout, manage user access, issue payment cards, and generate financial reports.
At a high-level, your app should send platform events to Fermata and we’ll send back whether or not a given user can continue using your platform. Fermata handles payment capture, balance monitoring, and logic for determining whether or not a user is in good standing — or needs to be cut off from access.
For example:
- Nonpayment
- Out of tokens
- Beyond credit limits
- Downgraded their subscription
